Recycle The Black Dollar ecosystem allows us to embrace the brilliance of us, the excellence of us, the creativity of us, the strength of us, and the power of us.

Reduce the volume of money and resources leaving the Black community.

Recycle the Black dollar in the Black community exponentially longer than 6 hours.

Reuse the talents within the Black community to build and fortify economic justice and economic power.

Reclaim the lifecycle of the Black dollar that built Black Wall Street.

The recycle symbol is used to illustrate the ecosystem that the Black community can sustain itself beyond measure. It is imperative that the larger community makes strategic decisions to stimulate and utilize resources in the Black community.

COLORS

Green: Represents the African land that our ancestors were stolen from; as well as the American land that our ancestors slaved over to build this country.

Red: The bloodshed of Black people over the last 400 years.

Black: Black excellence and the Power of the Black community.

INSPIRATION

Represents RTBD's campaign for the Harriett Tubman’s $20 bill to actually enter the circulation of US currency. Black people spend $1.2 trillion annually and RTBD will advocacy to have Black representation on one (1) of the seven (7) currency bills.
